Paypal Alternative : Fastspring.com will steal your money
When looking for an alternative payment processor to paypal, whatever you do, do NOT use Fastspring.com. They will flat out steal your money. I used them for a few hundred dollars worth of sales for an online product, looking for an alternative to paypal, but unfortunately, like all too many shady payment processors online, they they turned out to be a scam and refused to deposit my legally obtained funds to my back account. This article is just to warn those looking for an online payment processor to stay away from fastspring.com.
As an online payment processor, fastspring is NOT a good alternative to Paypal. Stay away from fastspring.com, they are dishonest and will steal your money.

Pretty hard to fight back on a charge like that, but I'll try anyway. You submitted products in a dishonest way, didn't tell the truth about what you were selling, and it turned out that you setup products of a type we do not sell. You generated a handful of likely fraudulent sales before we caught on, and those funds are being held for a short time until we can see whether or not the likely chargebacks roll in.
ReplyDeleteFastSpring provides excellent service to honest clients. But if a potential client isn't going to deal with us honestly, or is in any way involved in a fraudulent manner, I can promise you that they are completely wasting their time and will not be making money through FastSpring.

DeleteActually, I tried to buy online and fastspring declined my payment. they dont reply to their emails and they block legitimate purchases. I wouldn't be surprised if anyone who uses fastspring to see a decline in purchases because they see "unable to process order"

I am using FastSpring for years. Their customer service is good. I have had some occasions where they are about to stop my account because of high level of chargeback, but eventually they let me using it. Overall I'm satisfied with them. They are really a good alternative to PayPal.

Fastspring has an awful security. They let through the most obvious fraud orders. I had over $8k goods stolen from store in couple years.

Ken White : Acc. to you , the guy was doing some fraud sales and u found it later . But i think u guys check the website n products before creating account. so , u are lying here .
ReplyDeleteAman - if only it were that simple. Unfortunately from time to time we find out after the fact or after our initial checks that something is fraudulent, it isn't always obvious at the very beginning. People work very hard to conceal bad intentions. Ken was certainly not lying. As far as the comment from Unknown, that doesn't sound right at all, I would encourage you to reach out directly to us to discuss.

I hope your hard work gets to the bottom of the pile and takes care of the charges I have been receiving through your company from a scam that I have reported to you and that was supposed to be taken care of.and cancelled. Today I received another notice of billing. I will send you another message requesting cancellation but I wanted to add my comments to this dialog.
DeleteFastspring charged me for something I did not buy. When you call their number you get a recorded message saying all replies are by email. You can't talk to anyone. I think they are a scam and nothing will change my mind until I am refunded the money plus the overdraft charges from my bank.

DeleteIt happens when someone buy goods from a FastSpring store with n stolen credit card number. It is not FastSpring's fault. The only way to resolve this to open a dispute with your bank.

An online service that allows you to accept payments online for digital products and subscriptions. Not sure if they started their ops but the website is up https://filesonweb.com
